The Northrop Grumman RQ-4B Global Hawk is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used by the United States Air Force and Navy as a surveillance aircraft. The Global Hawk is able to provide high resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) that can penetrate cloud-cover and sandstorms, and Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) imagery at long range with long loiter times over target areas. It can survey as much as 40,000 square miles of terrain a day. It is used as a high-altitude platform for surveillance and security. The Global Hawk costs about $220 million USD each. This upload includes .pdf files useful for the Simmer. It also includes checklist data never before included, and very realistic. Imagine if you had that much money, and double that for the Satellite use, and this would be a fun plane for you and your assigned crew to fly. It only takes you, in this case, and once she's at altitude you can rest assured she will be there when you awake many hours later. Includes several .pdf files of interest for serious Simmers. Provided by the "Freedom of Information Act" and the "Fair Use Doctrine" for use as an educational tool. All of those involved in this project are credited within the scope of the aircraft description. Created by: Kazunori Ito. Panel by: Bob Chicilon. Sound by: Aaron R. Swindle.
